Marathon County Special Education (MCSE) was established in 1958. Our Department has provided over a half-century of innovative and comprehensive services to our cooperating districts in the consortium, including the Abbotsford and Spencer Public Schools, the School Districts of Athens, Edgar, Marathon and the Rosholt School District. Collectively, our districts have a long-standing tradition of educational excellence for all children.

MCSE employs over 100 specialty staff ranging from special education teachers, paraprofessionals, support staff and specialists to school psychologists. We work with the six school districts in our consortium to recruit and select the most qualified applicants to fill vacant positions.

POSITION SUMMARY:


Marathon County Special Education is seeking a full time Paraprofessional for the Edgar School District.

Benefits available based on FTE and job position,pay starting at $15/hr



QUALIFICATIONS:


Past experience preferred. High School diploma required. Associate Degree or two years of college, CNA license helpful but not required. Pay is competitive with paraprofessional positions in the area.



SELECTION PROCEDURE:


Selection of the successful candidate may be made by assessment of experience and education, criminal record check, data-entry test; oral interview; review of references, written background inventory, and other appropriate job-related selection procedures. All applicants will be notified as to the status of their application.
