APPLY NOW – Congregational Home is hiring for a part-time, Life Enrichment Assistant position!

Congregational Home is a non-profit; faith based continuing care retirement community. At Congregational Home, we provide a full continuum of care for seniors. We offer rehabilitation, assisted living, skilled nursing and memory care services. We are looking for individuals that can adapt to the needs of residents in a variety of areas.

General hours for this position will be 1-2 evenings per week 11:30am-7:30pm and every other weekend 8:00am-4:30pm.

Life Enrichment Assistant Job Responsibilities:

• Directs therapeutic/recreational activities for small or group settings, one-to-one therapy programs based on identified needs, strengths & interests of all residents.
• Utilizes a variety of motivational techniques to encourage resident participation in activities
• Assists with the room set-up and take-down for activities/programs

Qualifications:

• Must be a high school graduate or GED
• Per state regulations, this position requires a CPR Certification; training would be provided to the right candidate
• Certification in a CBRF environment is a plus, but not required
• Must have a satisfactory level of interpersonal skills required to interact with facility administration, community and government agencies, interdisciplinary staff, and resident/families.
• Must demonstrate creative planning and delivery of recreational programs for geriatric population.
