Job description
JOBPerforms responsible unskilled work in animal care, cleaning of premises in animal control operations and some public contact; does related work as required. Work is performed under the regular supervision of the Animal Control Sergeant or his, her designee.
EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
Feeds, waters and cares for animals in the shelter;Cleans animal areas and maintains areas throughout the day;Cleans and maintains premises and animal areas;Stocks and maintains supplies and storage areas;Occasionally waits on public and answers phones if necessary;Performs related tasks as required
SUPPLEMENTAL INFORMATION
Weekends required. Job requires the handling of animals on a daily basis, cleaning, feeding and watering. Some janitorial office cleaning is required.
