Avery Oil & Propane, Inc. is looking for an outgoing and friendly person to fill the role of a part-time Customer Service Representative for our Rives Junction office.

Our CSR’s play a pivotal role in helping to support excellent customer service, customer retention and new customer acquisition. As a CSR, you will serve as a main point of contact for our customers by handling inbound and outbound calls, walk in customers, and administrative functions.

This position will be based out of our Rives Junction location. Pay range will start at $15, commensurate with experience.

Responsibilities:

• Part-time; 20-25 hours per week
• Handle incoming calls and utilize a proactive sales approach with every customer interaction to uncover additional sales and service opportunities pertaining to propane, gasoline, and oils
• Present a professional, confident, and enthusiastic image to develop trusting relationships with all customers
• Handle administrative, data entry including posting customer invoices, payments, exemption certificates, and contracts

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 year of experience in a customer service role
• Minimum of a High School diploma or GED preferred
• Previous office experience
• Solid computer skills including Microsoft Office, data entry, and the ability to run and analyze reports
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize assignments in a team environment with interruptions
• Professional in person, in writing, and on the phone
• Must be able to keep account information confidential
