Job description

We are hiring a Design Associate for our SC Home Roswell store. The Design Associate is responsible for promoting exceptional customer service by greeting clients and visitors, answering phones and product questions, as well as providing sales support and assistance for the sales team on the retail showroom floor.
What You Do

• Ensures and tracks “Up - Sale Rotation Opportunities”.
• Provides clients and visitors “The Gift of Great Service”.
• Answers calls and takes messages for the SC Home store.
• Utilizes Customer Relationship Manager (CRM) daily and frequently updates client information.
• Prepares promotional signage as needed.
• Tracks, places, and receives office supply orders.
• Receives, inspects, tags, and merchandises vendor accessories.
• Schedules customer merchandise pickups.
• Routes all small parcels to appropriate personnel in the SC Home store.
• Works with Store Manager to distribute copies of monthly work schedule.

What You Bring

• Six months experience in design or retail environment preferred
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to use general office and professional sales equipment including iPad, desktop, scanner, copier, printer, and multi-line phone system.
• Proficient computer skills including working knowledge of Outlook, Excel, and Word.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment required.
• Attention to detail and advanced organizational skills are required.
• Problem-solving skills and a positive, professional demeanor are required.
• Ability to work hours assigned at the store with frequent weekend hours expected and additional hours during special events. Full-time: 38-40-hour schedule per week.
