Job description
Morrison Mahoney LLP seeks two part-time and/or full-time File Clerks for its Hartford, Connecticut office.
Responsibilities:
- Covering Reception Desk as needed.
- Creating new files.
- Creating and maintaining pleadings binders.
- Gathering and filing a variety of legal correspondence and documents related to attorney and departmental needs.
- Preparing and organizing closed files for storage.
- Processing and distributing mail and faxes.
- Assisting on other small projects as needed.
The ideal candidates will possess superior organizational skills, pay attention to detail, and have the ability to work independently. This is a great opportunity for recent college graduates looking for experience in a legal setting.
Qualifications:
- Excellent organization and time management skills.
- Interest in the legal field.
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
Salary: $15 - $17 Hourly.
