Part-time Gymnastics Instructor

Position: Part-time Gymnastics Instructor
Locations: Pat Jones YMCA
Reports to: Youth and Family Director
Wage Range: $8.60-$9.60 per hour

Major Responsibilities:

• Use YMCA best practices, ensure participant safety, teach participants gymnastic skills using a fun and motivating approach

• Work in conjunction with Gymnastics Lead Staff to promote participation and encourage return participants

• Promote the core values of the Y-caring, honesty, respect, and responsibility

Qualifications:

• Must have experience as a gymnast

• Working with children and experience teaching gymnastics preferred

• Strong communication skills required

• Must be motivating, energetic, and enthusiastic, with a desire to succeed

• Current CPF or CPR within one month of hire
