Looking For A Part -Time IV Nurse

We are looking for someone who learns quickly, gives 100% when on the job, is self-motivated, and highly skilled in administering IV’s. We have a one-stick policy with our patients. IV Nurse must be on brand by caring for his or herself and being a reflection of the type of medicine we serve. IV Nurse must be able to quickly learn our services and be able to effectively communicate them to clients.

If you are someone who is…

Available part time, 3 days per week - Monday, Wednesday, and Friday

Local to Washington DC area or DMV

Great at starting IV’s and accessing mediports, PICC lines and midlines

Comfortable working independently

Multi-functional

Willing to learn new and advanced skills

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Patient evaluation, obtain vitals, maintain nurses notes, prepare, administer and disconnect IV infusions in accordance to protocols; administer intramuscular injections, blood draw and preparation, monitor patients during infusions, provide patient education on infusion protocols, create a positive and relaxing environment for patients.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS: Must be highly skilled in IV placement, comfortable working as triage nurse, must be friendly, honest, easy to work with, reliable and trustworthy, must follow directions well, be a team player, and good at multi-tasking. Must have interest in functional, and integrative medicine.

EDUCATION: Patient care and nursing experience.

Extremely competent clinical nursing experience in administering IV therapy, preferred ED or outpatient experience

RN Nursing degree from an accredited nursing school, required

Current District of Columbia RN License required

BLS certification required

IV certification preferred

IV therapy experience required

Salary: Starting $25 to $30 an hour based on experience
