FEED is a mission-driven company - for every product that we sell, we donate meals towards school feeding operations around the world. We are looking for an enthusiastic, detail-oriented individual to work part-time remotely as a customer care specialist over the upcoming holiday season. Initial training hours will be 10-15 per week. Hours subject to increase based on demand. The selected candidate will serve as the face of FEED in managing customer service inquiries received through email. This position will play a crucial role in ensuring that customer inquiries and questions are being solved efficiently, while also striving to improve customer care efforts within our company.

Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day customer service inquiries via email

• Operate within Zendesk customer service platform

• Problem-solve all customer issues thoroughly and in a timely manner

• Share customer feedback with the team regularly to help improve customer service relations

• Special projects and responsibilities as needed

Requirements:

• 
  1-2 years of experience in customer service or a related role (preferred)

• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, with proven ability to show empathy in written communication to customers

• Must be flexible with work schedule, as hours could increase with demand

• Must be organized, resourceful, and proactive

• Must be disciplined and self-sufficient with respect to reporting and time management

• Must have strong attention to detail and be able to work under tight deadlines

• Proficient in Microsoft Office

• Must be enthusiastic and contribute to a positive team culture
