General Responsibilities: Employee is responsible for the oversight of United Airlines’ Tel Aviv Flight Security Protocols.

Specific Duties/Essential Job Functions: (Other duties may be assigned)

  • Comply with all safety, security, compliance and quality standards and procedures established by the Company, Clients and regulatory authorities.
  • Establish and maintain effective communication and working relationships with passengers, co-workers, shift coordinators, supervisors, managers, clients, etc.
  • Provide leadership and direction to TLV Security team members.
  • Provide in open communication between field employees and management.
  • Provide positive coaching to team members.
  • Assist the Operations Manager and Account Manager in the direction of and supervision of field employees.
  • Ensure the highest quality of customer satisfaction.
  • Secondary security screening of all passengers traveling to TLV
  • Operation of security screening equipment.
  • Performing security patrols indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions, day and night.
  • Advises management team of any emergency or security incident for appropriate resolution.
  • A positive attitude, even when faced with misplaced criticism or frustration.
  • Perform all tasks and duties required of your team.
  • Miscellaneous duties as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • Front –Lines employees on designated account and shift.

  • The individual may be required to stand and walk for the majority of the work shift.
  • The individual may be required to ascend and descend stairs.
  • Individual may be required to lift and /or push up to 75 pounds or more for the majority work shift.

- Capable physical abilities and motor skills (color perception)- Screening equipment utilization.

  • Hear and respond to audible alarms.
  • Able to perform physical searches (baggage, containers, other objects).
  • Able to perform pat-downs and/or handheld metal detector searches of individuals.

Language Skills:

  • Ability to communicate effectively in the English language.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and procedure manuals, and handbooks.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from passengers, managers, clients, customers and the general public.
  • Must also possess and utilize effective listening skills.

Math Skills:

  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.

Reasoning Ability:

  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.
  • Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

General Company Requirements:

  • Employee must comply with the Company’s management grooming standards and must wear his or her SIDA badge/Airport ID at all times.
  • Employee must comply with and enforce all guidelines and policies set forth in the ABM Employee Handbook. These policies include, but are not limited to, the Company’s Zero Tolerance Discrimination and Harassment Policy, Retaliation Policy, Ethics Policy, and Security Policy. Employee must also comply with regulatory agency requirements, including, but not limited to, the ADA, ACAA, DOT, TSA, FAA, and Federal, State, and Local authorities.

Education:

  • High School Diploma or GED preferred.

Experience:

  • Previous customer service experience and airline/airport experience preferred.

Overall:

  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Must submit to and pass a drug screening.
  • Must meet all requirements to receive required airport SIDA badge, and Customs Seal, including successful completion of a background check and ten-year work history.
