Job Title: Pre-Certification Receptionist

Location: Philadelphia, PA 19111

Contract Duration: 13 (Possibility to extend)

Hours: 5x8 (40/week)

Shift: Rotating shifts, from 6:30AM-2:30PM..2:00PM-10:00PM..10:00PM-6:00AM

Job Summary:

This position is responsible for confirming and satisfying all billing requirements by obtaining the appropriate pre-certification/authorization from all necessary payers to avoid payment penalties. Responsible to confirm the financial/insurance information obtained during the registration process to determine that State, Federal and Third-Party precertification/billing requirements are met to ensure optimal reimbursement for services to be rendered.

Education High School Diploma or Equivalent (Required)

Experience 1 Year experience as an Insurance Specialist or equivalent hospital pre-certification/utilization role (Required)

*We are looking for candidates with experience in obtaining authorizations for chemotherapy and outpatient surgical procedures. In particular, experience with gastro, urology, and orthopaedics.(Required)

· Experience 1 or less than 1 Year experience (Required)

· Covid Vaccination (Required)
