Fallsgrove Endoscopy Center (FGEC), a GI focused Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) located in Rockville, MD, has an exciting opportunity for a FULL TIME Patient Service Coordinator to join their team!

What you’ll do:

• Register and greet patients, answer phones
• Schedule procedures
• Verify Insurance
• Prepare charts
• Knowledge of billing, invoicing and medical records
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multitask and prioritize
• Other administrative duties as assigned

What you’ll know:

· A successful applicant must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

• High School Diploma (or equivalent) along with a minimum of at least one year of experience in a medical office setting and working knowledge of medical terminology
• Insurance verification experience preferred
• Computer proficiency in Microsoft Word & Excel and ability to successfully multitask and prioritize
• Previous experience handling multiple phone lines is preferred
• Previous experience with billing and scheduling software preferred
• Strong written and oral communication skills
