Our practice draws from empirically-validated, peer-reviewed research to teach communication, motor, play, social and self-care skills, in a fun, child-friendly environment.

We are looking for pediatric certified occupational therapy assistant (COTA) who specialize in the treatment of infants, children and adolescents diagnosed with autism and other developmental disabilities. Our clients are typically diagnosed with autism, down syndrome, ADHD, and general anxiety disorder.

We are located in Northern Liberties, Philadelphia, PA 19123.

Hourly rate starts at $25. Compensation and benefits are commensurate with credentials and pediatric therapy experience.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Experience in analyzing and intervening with infants, children or adolescents who have behavioral challenges in a treatment or school program.
• Ability, with training, to perform appropriate physical restraint as needed
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment with colleagues and supervisors
• Displays an ability to articulate well in both verbal and written communication
• Displays ability to coordinate with others, contributes to instructional knowledge in identifiable and demonstrated ways, helps resolve conflicts when they arise; conducts oneself in a professional manner at all times
• Excellent attention to detail
• Ability to develop and maintain collaborative relationships with clients, parents, school personnel, and other professionals.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $27.50 per hour
