We are looking for a customer service-oriented People & Culture (HR) Generalist to join our team! This is a true Generalist role that will draw on experience in all facets of HR (or, as we call it, People & Culture) knowledge. The Generalist provides administrative support to the People & Culture Manager in development, coordination, and application of HR policies and procedures. This role is the primary plant contact regarding payroll & benefits, general HR inquiries, and recruitment/staffing—so making and sustaining a great first impression is a must!

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide advice and counsel to team members regarding human resource related requests and questions.
  • Conduct recruitment efforts for non-exempt internal and external positions and temporary personnel including new employee orientations; administers pre-employment tests; conducts reference checks.
  • Ensure new employees have a thorough comprehension of the policies and practices of Nature’s Path (i.e., benefits and work policies), providing recommendations for improvement of services and procedures.
  • Maintain accurate and timely information in both HR files and electronic record keeping controls.
  • Assign security badges and assist People & Culture Manager in system compliance.
  • Verifies I-9 documentation and maintains books that are current and compliant.
  • Assists in exit interview process.
  • Monitor attendance and absenteeism.
  • Provide input and support to the People & Culture Manager in the general operations of the department and assists in various projects or assignments.
  • Coordinate benefits for plant including enrollment, processing of documentation, responding and managing leave requests, responding to team member’s questions, and performing related compliance and reconciliations.
  • Assists in Nature’s Path payroll processing to ensure team members are paid accurately.

SHRM-CP or PHR certification preferred

Salary range for this role is $70,500 to $85,400 DOE
