Introduction to the Team
We are currently seeking a Manager to be part of our Healthcare Performance Excellence practice. The practice provides operations improvement, labor productivity improvement and cost reduction, non-labor expense management and financial turnaround consulting services to hospitals and health systems and related entities throughout the country. Our PE practice provides unique opportunities to work with C-Suite executives around process improvement, conducting engagements with hospital operations leaders to improve operational efficiency and implementing lasting cultural and operational changes to help organizations thrive. Responsibilities
- Strong motivation to meet client deadlines and provide excellent client service
- Demonstrated ability to collect and analyze complex data, evaluate information and systems, and draw logical conclusions
- Demonstrated skills in project planning, reviewing, and ensuring work is organized and documented
- Sound business judgment and creative problem-solving attributes, in addition to working experience and knowledge in a wide-range of client industries and environments
- Demonstrated skills in effectively working with all levels of management
- Ability to mentor, train and manage professional staff
- Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field required; Master’s degree preferred
- CPA or similar certification not required
- 5 years of experience in hospital operations consulting with an emphasis on working with C-suite clients
- Previous experience in reviewing financial reports, analyzing operational results and implementing new processes and protocols
- Previous experience in a consulting firm preferred
- Previous experience handling multiple engagements simultaneously, while providing leadership and management over professional staff required
- Prior success in leading project delivery, building analytic models and tools and client management experience preferred
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 50%
