Sit Pretty Grooming Salon is seeking a self-motivated, passionate and reliable employee to join our team! Grooming experienced is preferred but, we are willing to train the right candidate.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Responsible for all animal's welfare during their visit
• Responsible for basic bathing procedures (nail trims, ear cleaning, bathing and drying)
• Responsible for following/executing proper cleaning/disinfecting procedures
• Responsible for delivering excellent customer service
• Responsible for efficient time management
• Responsible for proper use/care of equipment & shared spaces

Requirements include but are not limited to:

• Ability to work in a team and with other bathers and groomers
• Great communication skills
• Ability to lift 50-100+ pounds
• Ability to be on your feet for long periods of time
• Ability to remain calm and maintain a soothing demeanor

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $16.00 per hour

Benefits:

• Paid time off

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Day shift

Supplemental pay types:

• Commission pay

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

• Animal care: 1 year (Required)
