National Drugstore is in need of a Pharmacy Technician and Certified Pharmacy Technician to join our dynamic team. The position will provide the perfect opportunity for an energetic and compassionate individual to gain hands-on experience in the pharmacy industry and assist our team with daily tasks and responsibilities. The ideal candidate will have a background in customer service and be able to communicate effectively with his or her fellow employees.
Responsibilities:
- Stock and maintain pharmacy supplies.
- Maintain inventory of medications, cleaning products, and other supplies.
- Maintain pharmacy equipment.
- Communicate with other healthcare providers, physicians, and patients.
- Learn how to use the pharmacy computer system.
- Take prescriptions to the stockroom to fill them.
- Carry out supply inventory counts as part of quality control checks.
