PHLEBOTOMIST - WILSON COMMUNITY HEALTH CENTER

This position supports the Mission, Values and Vision of Carolina Family Health Centers, Inc. The Phlebotomist is responsible for providing laboratory services including phlebotomy, and other laboratory procedures, utilizing various machinery, lab equipment, and computer programs to perform tests. This position reports to the Clinical Site Manager.

This position offers a 40-hour work week, full benefits package, 12 paid holidays, bi-weekly pay, and no weekends!

Minimum Qualifications:

- High School Diploma or GED
- Phlebotomy certification from an accredited agency
- Minimum one year of laboratory technician experience
- BLS Certification
- Attentive to details
- Basic computer skills
- Must demonstrate superior customer focus with effective communication skills

Physical Requirements:

- Must be able to stand for long periods of time, bend, and lift equipment. Must comply with OSHA standards and universal precautions.

As a Medicaid/Medicare facility, Carolina Family Health Centers must comply with the Federal COVID-19 vaccination mandates. Therefore, as of January 27, 2022, new and existing employees must have received, at a minimum, the first dose of the primary series (Moderna or Pfizer) or a single dose COVID-19 vaccine (Janssen), have requested a lawful exemption, or been granted a lawful exemption.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $13.00 - $14.75 per hour
