Job Summary

The Photo & Video Manager is responsible for producing high quality print, digital and video images of a wide selection of products to be used in several mediums. The Photo & Video Manager will execute the highest of standards and quality by setting up lighting, color accuracy and exposure to best represent the company assortment. In this role, a superb eye for detail and a love for home décor that delivers innovative imaging solutions to enhance the customer experience is required. The Photo & Video Manager is responsible for organizing and coordinating all imaging and video solutions for Gabriella White and its brands, to include receiving and organizing the products, logistics planning and editing to meet production deadlines.

What you do:*

Manages all workflows related to photo and video needs; from timing and logistics to filing and formatting.

• Refines existing and develops new photographic and video standards, techniques and procedures.
• Executes all product photography to identified photo standards and ensures all product have 360 degree product videos.
• Manages and coordinates location photography shot and video lists and coordinates the upfront coordination of ensuring all onsite photo/video needs are addressed.
• Coordinates with designers and creative team to ensure that key product details are captured.
• Manages all off site event photography and video needs, including 3D Virtual Showroom tours
• Plans the composition of photographs and videos to include analyzing subject material, using artistic judgement, selecting appropriate equipment, lighting, angle and background.
• Manages the built out and ongoing maintenance of the photo studio, collaborates with Marketing Ops Inventory and Sample Manager to maintain prop and material library.
• Oversees and maintains quality control throughout production of assigned projects including shooting under a myriad of conditions while creating marketable assets.
• Participates in strategic and creative concept development.
• Maintains the Company’s photographic and video archives both digital and analog; meta tagging and documenting all related images for future searches.
• Champions ways to leverage technology and industry trends to provide expertise, innovation and differentiation.
• Other duties as assigned.

What you bring:*

Bachelor’s degree in Photography, Graphic Arts or related field

• 5+ years of experience in professional photography; luxury and lifestyle preferred
• Experience with a variety of studio lighting
• Knowledge of production processes for print
• Knowledge of photographic technology equipment and techniques, including editing and archiving
• Experience with Adobe Creative Suite
• Adept at shooting high quality stills for use in print and digital applications
• Creativity with high level of time management skills
