Physical Therapy Assistant

Villa Las Palmas is a dynamic skilled nursing and rehab facility with a subacute unit currently recruiting for a PTA to join our in-house team of therapy professionals. We see a diverse adult patient population whose goal is to regain functional independence to return to home. As part of our team you will enjoy multiple opportunities to expand your competencies as a skilled clinician.

Qualified Candidates:

Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant in the state of California

New Graduates are Welcome

• Treats patients as directed by the Physical Therapist and adheres to facility documentation guidelines
• Exhibits exceptional oral and written communication skills
• Records treatments given and progress notes in medical record per state and federal guidelines
• Communicates with supervisor and other health team members regarding patient progress, problems and plans.
• Committed to providing exceptional care to assist residents in regaining functional independence
• Maintains patient confidence, follows HIPAA regulations.
• Exhibits knowledge and understanding of therapy practice act

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $33.00 - $37.00 per hour
