Holly Ridge Center is currently recruiting for a Physical Therapist - Pediatric, offering an exciting opportunity to join a team of dedicated early childhood professionals, who provide early intervention services to children from birth to three years of age. Our Infant Toddler Program provides services using an interdisciplinary, family-centered, and culturally diverse approach.
Job Summary: Provides evaluation, assessment, treatment, and consultation services, appropriate to children, ages birth to three years old, within a combined medical and educational model, using an interdisciplinary, family-centered, and culturally diverse approach.

Essentials Functions:
Provide evaluation and assessment services
- Determine neuromuscular status
- Assess perceptual-fine motor skills
- Assess gross motor development
- Determine level of self-help skills
- Determine adaptive play and sensory integration status
Plan, organize, and implement treatment plans
- Assure home/daycare visits are scheduled in a timely manner, occur as stated in the Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP), and are individualized to the child
- Create written documentation regarding treatment
- Provide written information on treatment plans and overall development to other staff, parents, and external resources, as appropriate
- Fabricate or order orthotics, durable medical equipment, and adaptive equipment
- Provide appropriate therapy
- Provide community outreach and training upon request
Provide Family Resources Coordination
- Inform families of advocacy, support services, funding, and community resources
- Provide information for: 6-month and Annual IFSP in coordination with all team members
- Assist in the coordination of the transition process, as appropriate
Maintain professional credentials
- Attend appropriate trainings/seminars to enhance knowledge and skills
- Continually upgrade knowledge of current research materials
- Maintain WA State licensure
- Maintain client and patient confidentiality
Other Functions:
- Other duties as requested, required, or assigned
Required Knowledge, Skills and/or Abilities:
- Knowledge of Neurodevelopmental Treatment training and/or Sensory Integration preferred
- Knowledge of typical and atypical child development processes
- Ability to make home visits
- Awareness of family economic and cultural issues as they relate to early intervention
- Knowledge of Washington State special education regulations and/or Federal early intervention law
- Knowledge of IFSP process
- Ability to pass a criminal history background check
Education, Training, and/or Work Experience:
- Master's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited college or university
- Neurodevelopmental Treatment Training and/or Sensory Integration Certification preferred
- Pediatric Physical therapy training and/or experience
Required Licenses or Certifications:
- Washington State Professional License through the Washington State Department of Health
- Valid Washington State driver's license, reliable transportation, and proof of current required personal liability insurance
- Must have clean WA State driving record, as defined by HRC's agency insurance policy
- CPR/1st Aid Certification within first 90 days of employment
