Ivy Rehab Network is looking to hire a Fitness Technician to join our team!
We are seeking a driven individual with a passion for assisting others live life to the fullest. Our fitness tech is present to greet anyone entering the facility and assist with answering questions, giving tours, and helping with new member sign ups.
The fitness tech does not give fitness or medical advice beyond their own personal certification.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED
- Proven exceptional customer service and patient care experience
- Willingness to be outgoing and engage in conversation with strangers
- Ability to self-motivate with the drive to exceed patient expectations
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while consistently maintaining a positive attitude
- Strong oral and written skills and ability to work well under pressure
- General knowledge of computers, telephones, and credit card machines
- Ability to adapt and be flexible with changes in workload
- Flexibility to work varied shift and weekends
- A background in customer service is preferred but not required
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Provide an outstanding and professional customer service experience to ensure efficiency
- Process member monthly payments
- Assist with class check ins and purchases at the front desk, data entry, restocking fliers, laundry, keep gym equipment, classrooms, and bathrooms clean and well stocked
- Explain matters of the gym, including but not limited to, membership pricing, gym protocols, 24/7 access, the various workout machines and gym equipment, classes offered, and physical therapy
- Maintain knowledge of the Fitness Center and Physical Therapy, as well as the software programs used
- Coordinate personal training and individual sessions with clients
- Support the Fitness Director as needed
