Outstanding opportunity for a high energy, experienced Physician Assistant to join our staff of dynamic, highly regarded ED practitioners employed by Associated Physicians of Harvard Medical Faculty Physicians (APHMFP) at Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital-Needham, in Needham, Massachusetts. This position is currently listed at 0.75 FTE with potential for additional coverage.
Provide direct patient care relative to physical diagnosis and therapeutic management for patients in the Emergency Department working under the supervision of a licensed Emergency Medicine physician.

BID-Needham is an 53-bed acute care community hospital located just west of Boston, MA. The team of emergency physicians and nurses are highly trained in various specialties to handle a broad range of adult and pediatric emergency care to patients in the southern suburbs of Boston.

Job Requirements
- Master's degree in Physician Assistant / Nurse Practitioner
- Massachusetts state licensure
- MA Board authorization to practice licensure
- American Heart Association - Basic Life Support Certificate and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support
- Certification in Pediatric Advanced Life Support preferred but not required
- Valid prescriptive authority from both the MA DPH-DCP and Federal DEA
- Experience in an Emergency Department or Urgent Care Center
- Competency in provision of care to patients of all ages
