The Virginia Department of General Services/Office of Fleet Management Services is seeking an experienced-level applicant to work as Team Lead. We are looking for an individual that can deliver excellent customer service solutions in a friendly and knowledgeable manner. Selected applicant will handle vehicle titling transactions using multiple PC screens, credit card, inventory, policies, procedures and regulations. Process applications for new vehicle registrations and titling, and other related DMV vehicle services. Successful applicant will analyze current vehicle needs and new vehicle requests and audit new vehicle arrivals. The Team Lead will ensure day-to-day operations of the Planning & Deployment Office.
Minimum Qualifications
The selected candidate must have automobile vehicle titling knowledge and or experience using a remote vehicle registration system. Working knowledge of personal computers to include producing excel spreadsheets and word documents, printers/copiers, and scanners using Microsoft Suite. Applicant needs to be able to interpret, explain and apply complex statutes, laws, rules and regulations. Applicant needs to be able to analyze data, draw logical conclusions, and make recommendations for operation adjustments. Ability to maintain records and documentation. Strong leadership and motivational skills. Ability to communicate in a courteous, professional and tactful manner and have strong written and verbal communication skills. Applicant needs to be able to lift 10 to 25 pounds. Successful candidate must the have the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast paced environment. Applicant must have a valid driver’s license.
Preferred Qualifications
Work experience with DMV’s remote vehicle registration system, EZ Fleet, is highly preferred.
Experience working in the Fleet/Automobile industry preferred.
