This position, reporting directly to the Director of Operations, manages, directs and coordinates all technical process related activities for the plating and waste water departments to ensure compliance with state and federal environmental regulations for water and solid waste programs. Responsible for ensuring plating chemistries, processes and equipment align with business objectives and needs. Drives continuous improvement in production control and methods, engineering, maintenance, and other operations.

• Demonstrate strong ability to troubleshoot and correct cosmetic and functional plating issues.

• Assesses process capabilities, prioritizes process improvement opportunities, and innovates and implements process improvements on new products and production.

• Manage the chemical processes for the manufacturing areas. Manage the scheduling of work and equipment for the waste water treatment and plating departments.

• Oversee the personal in the Plating Tech, Lab and Waste Water areas of Plants 4 and 5.

• Develop, implement and support the equipment and processes for the waste water treatment process and the chemical recovery systems. Ensure proper management and disposal of hazardous and non-hazardous solid wastes.

• Support all activities with August Mack Environmental to support the rollout of the eCAP program for the management of all new permits and modification of existing permits.

• Develop, implement and support waste minimization and recycling programs. Ensure it will be environmentally sensitive to recycling and environmental opportunities when evaluating new or existing products and materials.

• Lead the implementation of the OEE tool on critical business process.

• Demonstrate strong analytical, communication (written & verbal), with the ability to effectively engage with and provide direction to build partnerships with all department associates.

Qualifications

7 + years of experience in Manufacturing Operations

7+ years of Chrome Plating

7+ years of Waste Water Treatment

• Strong leadership skills in team environment and skills to bring positive atmosphere to the team

• 5 + years Supervisory Experience

• Ability to multi-task and perform duties time efficiently

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $100,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
