Job Summary
Looking for a person with a positive attitude, confident, and great interpersonal skills. This position will require direct contact with the public while delivering superior guest service. Assist Player Club/Player Development Supervisor in overseeing the Players Club & Staff. Promotes the use of the club card to non-members and members on the gaming floor; must have and maintain working knowledge of Players Club benefits, property amenities and marketing programs. Keeps current of all property events, promotions, and entertainment to accurately communicate these activities of the casino to encourage club card usage and new club card enrollments. Communicate information to customers regarding IHC Players Club, enrolls new members, answer questions and concerns, provide event information and interact in positive manner with customers. Maintains current knowledge of the slot floor and table games product mix. Ensure highest level of customer service for our guests, maintaining appearance standards, cordiality, and hospitality standards. Researches and resolves guest issues effectively and professionally. Accurately and thoroughly process sales for the Gift Shop according to procedures. Receive cash and/or process credit card, and/or club card transactions from customers or employees in payment of goods according to procedures. Assist with monthly inventories and ensure accurate counting. Assist with receiving and stocking Gift Shop Inventory.
Skills/Experience required or Preferred
Must possess an upbeat, friendly, and helpful attitude. Excellent verbal, written and listening skills are essential. Communicate well with all levels of personnel, management and customers. The ability to communicate professionally over the telephone is required. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions and concerns. Establish and maintain effective working relationships. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to accomplish multiple tasks with limited supervision are required. Requires the ability to maintain strict confidentiality in an environment that involves producing results in conjunction with fellow team members.
Education
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Must be over 21 years of age.
- Prior experience dealing with the public in a customer service role.
- Minimum of one-year experience in sales cashiering.
- Minimum of one-year supervisory experience.
- Intermediate computer skills: MS Office, spreadsheets, word processing and graphics.
- Good math, spelling, and written grammar skills.
