Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Possesses working knowledge of Water Supply, Waste Systems, Fire Suppression Sprinklers, Irrigation Sprinklers, Fire Hydrants, and Dry Wells.
- Demonstrates knowledge in clearing waste lines with Snakes, Blow Bags, Plungers, and Jetta’s.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
- A valid New York State Driver’s License is required.
- Town of Hempstead/Village of Hempstead Master Plumber’s License.
- Backflow Prevention Device Testing Certificate.
- Suppression Sprinkler Maintenance Certificate.
