Job description

Wellfleet Shellfish Company is looking for a bright, energetic, and organized individual to lead and supervise shift operations. This individual is responsible for:

• -Overseeing and managing a staff of 3 to 9 co-workers.
• -Processing, inventorying, and shipping local seafood products.
• -Working with fisherman and farmer vendors in assisting offloads.
• -Overseeing product flow and sanitation in a processing and warehouse environment.
• -Using available computer hardware and software programs to receive, process, inventory, and ship product.
• -Continuously communicating with sales and management staff on product levels and vendor needs.

Qualifications and Experience:

• -Prior experience in product workflow management preferably in seafood related industries.
• -Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• -Prior experience working within a team environment.
• -High school degree or equivalent.
• -Demonstrated experience managing product flow activities in a successful enterprise.
