Aeriz is searching for a full-time Post Harvest Production Manager for our state-of-the-art indoor aeroponic cannabis production facility in Riverbank, CA. The Post Harvest Production Manager is responsible for managing all post-harvest activities (curing, trimming, and packaging). The successful candidate will possess a passion for process operations, excellent interpersonal skills, experience leading others, and strong cannabis knowledge with a willingness to continually learn more about the subject.
This role will report directly to the General Manager and work on-site at our cultivation facility in Riverbank.

Responsibilities
- Assume responsibility for the plants immediately following a harvest.
- Oversee all plant post-harvest activities and extraction operations, maintaining a high level of quality and focusing on efficiency and productivity.
- Create and implement SOPs, methods, policies, and objectives.
- Accurately and consistently maintain tracking and movement of all products using METRC.
- Ensure all rooms and equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized before and after activities.
- Record activities in their appropriate logs.
- Manage inventory of finished products.
- Comply and enforce all rules and regulations set by state and local regulatory bodies.
- Partner with Human Resources to effectively manage the team.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in biology, botany, manufacturing, engineering, or a related degree preferred.
- 2 years of experience in a supervisory, management, or equivalent role required.
- Knowledge of effective post-harvest best practices and procedures.
- Knowledge of plant pest issues, insects, and fungi as well control options, especially as it pertains to cannabis and state regulations.
- Effective and efficient communication skills are a must.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to effectively plan and prioritize.
- Skill in managing physical resources (budgeting, inventories, equipment, and materials).
- Strong attention to detail.
- Mechanical skill.
- Ability to work effectively as team leader and guide.
- Ability to remain calm in periods of high stress or unusual activity.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality, absolute reliability, and integrity.
- Genuine interest, appreciation, and passion for the cannabis industry and consumers.
- Extended time standing, walking, bending, and reaching.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds for a distance of 100 feet.
- Close visual focus required.
- This position occasionally requires the extended and repetitive use of arms, hands, and fingers to cut and manipulate small objects.
- Must be 21 years of age or older and authorized to work in the United States.
- Able to successfully register as an agent in state’s cannabis commission.
- Must adhere to all laws, regulations, and policies associated with the industry.
