Summary
Prepares and RIPs digital files for printing.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Prepares and sends digital files to our grand format printers.
- Provides additional large format technical support.
- Manages a production workflow to accurately produce grand format graphics to minimize waste, labor and costs.
- Communicates directly with prepress, finishing and shipping departments to ensure critical deadlines are met and quality expectations are exceeded.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Education & Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- One or more years experience operating Vutek grand format printers or two to four years of related experience in grand format production.
- Excellent organizational, analytical and follow-up skills.
- Must be able to learn and adapt to change, manage multiple tasks and prioritize.
- Must be deadline driven and flexible to respond to changing requirements with tight deadlines in a fast paced environment.
- Must have above average understanding of tradeshow and special event graphics production.
- Excellent customer service skills.
