POSITION SUMMARY
The President of FootCare Solutions you will report to the Group President, Prevention & Recovery at Enovis. The President will be responsible for full P&L accountability that includes driving $x million business and will directly lead an organization of approximately 500 employees across sales, marketing, R&D, supply chain, and manufacturing operations & logistics, and customer experience.
The President will provide leadership in setting the strategy for the business in order to deliver on revenue and margin commitments, optimize profitability, go to market strategies, and strategically deploy customer facing teams aligned with the company strategy. In addition, this person will ensure sales force effectiveness, price optimization, a profitable portfolio mix, targeted promotions, and an effective channel strategy. He/she will be responsible for leading innovative product development and launch initiatives, including partnering with key opinion leaders to assure a steady stream of ground-breaking innovative bracing products.
He/she will be responsible for attracting, developing, motivating, and retaining a diverse high performing organization and will build a culture of achievement and accountability by effectively managing talent and engagement; ensuring high performers are rewarded appropriately, and the lower performers are managed or placed on development plans, when necessary.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Sales & Marketing
§ Develop a sales and marketing strategy that aligns the field sales organization with the company’s growth and profitability goals, including optimizing appropriate channels for the business.
§ Design an organizational structure, define territories, and establish quotas that maximize account coverage and optimize sales force productivity.
§ Drive rigor and discipline, enable effective oversight and forecasting, and provide metrics that are true measures of achievement and progress.
§ Continuously assess and improve sales force talent by measuring selling activity and ensuring accountability to maximize FootCare Solutions performance in every local market.
§ Execute launch activity and go-to-market plans with appropriate focus of sales management and sales training, activity prioritization and performance management.
§ Develop and maintain strong relationships with strategic customers.
§ Manages contacts and key business relationships to ensure maximum customer satisfaction.
§ Identify business development opportunities and balance organic and inorganic growth with speed to market.
§ Utilize knowledge of the market and competitive intelligence to establish pricing that reflects the appropriate positioning of our products in the market and will drive volume and maximize profitability. This should be based on customer demand, the competitive environment, and other products we offer.
§ Design and develop promotions that yield a desirable product mix and will drive profitability thought effective advertising utilizing various forms of media (e.g., print, email, social).
§ Ensure sales team has the necessary product training and promotional materials to effectively represent the company’s offerings in the marketplace.

Product Development and R&D
§ Provide leading edge product development strategy and execution across the company, including partnering with key opinion leaders to ensure a steady stream of ground breaking innovative bracing and supports products.
§ Ensure the FootCare Solutions business develops the right products and services with the right features and functionality, at the right quality levels, that leverage the brand, and are at the right price point for our customers, particularly in emerging markets which represent growth potential.

Manufacturing Operations & Logistics
§ Drive net productivity while supporting revenue growth to increase gross margins over the current strategic plan horizon.
§ Drive continuous improvement by reducing cycle time/scrap and increasing yields, while using Six Sigma and Lean methodologies.
§ Evaluate the current organization strengths and key improvement opportunities to develop and execute plans for continued operational improvements and profitable growth.
§ Promote a safe, healthy, and ethical work environment through compliance with corporate and applicable government agency policies that protect the workforce and the environment and exceed industry standards.
§ Ensure implementation and compliance to FDA GMP, ISO, and all other relevant regulatory and DJO guidelines.
§ Assess the manufacturing and supply chain footprint to maximize asset utilization and optimize manufacturing strategy initiatives to reduce lead times and create a competitive advantage in customer service.
§ Evaluate make vs. buy options to determine most efficient and effective method to deliver product.
§ Drive working capital efficiencies through the supply chain achieving year-over-year performance improvements in inventory and working capital management.
§ Build culture of excellence in quality standards and systems, metrics, and reporting for manufacturing. Provide leadership in driving overall execution of lower working capital and overall product quality metrics.

Collaboration and Change Management
§ Influence and empower vital stakeholders to execute vision and strategy by encouraging adoption of necessary changes for improvement and achievement of desired goals.
§ Successfully maintain collaborative working relationships with cross-functional stakeholders across multiple business groups throughout the product life cycle.
§ Partner and collaborate with shared services including Finance, IT, Human Resources, Legal & Compliance, and Global Quality Assurance and Regulatory Affairs organizations for overall operational excellence.

§ Complete review and rationalization of product portfolio SKUs

§ Develop and execute "low cost" market strategy to address heavy-discounting competitors.
§ Develop and execute digital / eCommerce strategy, including consumer.

Candidate Profile

DJO Global seeks a talented senior executive with a track record of achieving business results and operational excellence. The ideal candidate will have proven experience driving innovation, developing and executing product commercialization, and working in a matrix organization to achieve P&L goals. He/she may have prior experience leading a global business and/or expanding businesses in global markets. Prior success in and ability to turnaround a business and effectively manage change throughout an organization is preferred. This executive may have worked in a variety of industries including: medical device, medical products, health and wellness products. Knowledge and experience in orthopedics and sports medicine is preferred. He/she will understand billing and reimbursement strategies and models.
IDEAL EXPERIENCE
General Management
12+ years of executive leadership in the medical technology space, preferably in large-scale, multi-discipline global organizations.
Relevant Industry Expertise
Knowledge and experience with orthopedic devices, sports medicine, and/or consumer healthcare products. Experience with billing, reimbursement, and payer strategies strongly preferred.
Operational excellence
Proven leader in driving increasingly efficient and effective business operations with results-oriented, analytical problem-solving approaches.
Innovative People Leadership
Track record of assessing, attracting, developing and retaining top talent. Demonstrated ability to build, lead high performing teams and develop a followership.
Education
Bachelor’s degree with major in marketing, business or similar, or equivalent combination of education and experience; M.B.A. is preferred.
