Position: Press Operator I
Location: Waco, Texas
Wage: $19.08
Shift: rotating shifts: 7am - 3pm; 3pm - 11pm; 11pm - 7am; rotate every four weeks
While reporting to the Press Dept. Manager, you will:
- Perform operations required to set up printing press to produce a variety of items.
- Follow company printing procedures and guidelines.
- Assist in setting-up jobs in the press and monitoring the quality of the print as the press is running.
- Communicate pertinent matters of the job with press operator III or IV on shift
- Maintain cleanliness of machines/equipment and adjacent work area.
- Refer difficulties to Press Operator III or IV for analysis and/or remedy.
- Regular, consistent attendance and punctuality are essential to the job.
- Follow equipment and workplace cleaning/sanitation procedures, to complete Sanitation Checklist
- Follow GMP’s and PRP’s and Production SOP’s
- Follow all safety rules.
- Collaborate closely with other departments and teams.
This position is in our Flexibles plant in beautiful Waco, Texas. We produce packaging for large name brand cookies and candies.

- High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, often carrying up to 30 pounds.
- The position requires repetitive finger, hand, and wrist movement as well as bending, twisting, and reaching.
- Stand for 8-12hrs per shift.
- Critical thinking skills to setup new jobs and operate various presses.
- Safety operation of machine.
- Achieve high quality standards.
- Proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
