JOB TITLE: Pricing Manager
REPORTING TO: General Manager
LOCATION: West Henrietta, NY

Who is IDEX Health & Science (IH&S)?
IDEX Health & Science, Life Science Optics – based in Rochester, New York –IDEX Health & Science’s line of products is comprised of a Light Sources Group and an Optical Systems Group. The Light Sources Group manufactures a variety of visible, low to moderate power lasers and laser-based systems uniquely designed for consistent performance. The Light Sources Group offers three basic types of lasers: gas (helium-neon and ion lasers), diode-pumped solid-state (DPSS) lasers, and semiconductor diode laser assemblies. The Optical Systems Group provides the design, prototype and low to mid volume manufacturing of custom lens assemblies and optical systems. The Optical Systems Group also specializes in the design of reliable shutter mechanisms and assemblies.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
- Deploy and operate Value-Based Pricing solutions across the LSO Business, consistent with IDEX Pricing Initiatives
- Execute and standardize effective pricing quotation function and review processes across a matrix business
- Analyze gross margin data and develop actions to improve profitability
- Work with General Managers, Business Line Leaders, Product Managers and Commercial Team to develop a Global Pricing Strategy
- Lead Annual Pricing Process by coordinating with multiple departments (commercial, sales, customer service, supply chain, etc.)
- Work closely with the product management and supply chain teams on price adjustments for direct material inflation (DMI) increases or market price capture.
- Develop and standardize effective pricing processes (pricing log, renewal notifications, non-standard pricing review).
- Develop and maintain standardized reporting on quote trends (volume, won/lost, by region, by market, competitive pricing effectiveness, etc.).
- Establish measures and metrics on Price Capture and Realisation and ensure follow-up action
- Creates effective tracking tools around price capture activities, including review cycles that monitor the effectiveness of implemented pricing actions
- Partner with Business Line and Commercial Teams to ensure effective communication is achieved across organization on pricing strategies and processes
- Collaborate closely with key customers
- Identify quick win opportunities to review, set and enforce fees/policies
