Marietta, GA based Digital Printing and Sign Center is currently seeking a “hands-on” Operation Manager who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will be knowledgeable in all areas of our business, including print, signs & graphics, design, finishing, technology and shipping. You will work with an experienced team to operate and maintain a wide variety of equipment and tasks, while managing customer satisfaction and the production queue/output. This position also would manage complex projects, vendors and supply chain to complete assigned projects within established cost and time parameters based upon priority.

Responsibilities

• Creates and maintains winning culture to carry out the vision and plans of the business on a day-to-day basis
• Works within an orderly and organized workflow while maintaining best in class industry standards
• Communicates with employees on performance, safety requirements and enforces company procedures/policies
• Manages costs in order to achieve budget in the areas of materials, payroll, and other variable expenses
• Performs various responsibilities related to price bids on customized orders, vendor relations and other related tasks as required
• Purchases materials, supplies and equipment, while controlling the work flow of inventory and use of equipment to support the needs of the business
• Functions in a fast paced environment, under time constraints, while meeting the objectives set by the business for revenue and profit
• Ability to solve problems, makes quick/accurate decisions, delegate tasks and achieve goals
• Promote a work environment that encourages employee involvement in workplace safety, product quality, productivity and customer service
• Plans, organizes, schedules and directs the activities of assigned team members
• Communicates on a personal level to inspire loyalty, commitment, and trust
• Is open to ideas of others, allowing them to participate in decision-making
• This is a salaried role, Monday through Friday

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years printing, graphic arts, digital design experience, Familiarity with current print and copy technology highly desirable
• Is mature and self-confident; able to lead by example
• Has a naturally inquisitive mind and loves to engineer unique solutions for clients and The Company. Seeks new and better methods to service our clients and test new products and production techniques to enhance product offering
• Is open-minded, receptive to change, and is willing to learn new skills
• Effective written and verbal communication skills and proven ability to lead, coach and motivate a team
• Strong understanding of technology, specifically printing and design software, web-to-print and POS
• Experience in business-to-business, retail, and/or manufacturing setting
• Expert knowledge of Adobe Suite

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $55,000.00 per year
