Horry County Disabilities and Special Needs is a leading provider of services and supports for individuals with intellectual and related disabilities; head and spinal cord injuries; and autism located in Conway, South Carolina.
We are currently seeking individuals to work As Needed/Relief Direct Support positions in the Residential Program. This position covers for our full-time staff members who schedule vacations or are unable to work. This position is able to cover either a 2nd or a 3rd shift vacancy.
Direct Support Advocates assist our clients with a variety of daily tasks to include bathing, dressing, cooking, cleaning, laundry, transportation, grocery shopping, community outings, and training on job skills. (A complete job description is available via our website at www.hcdsn.org)
The starting pay for this Relief Direct Support Advocate is $15.00 per hour. This position does not offer benefits, however, you do have the ability to schedule shifts around your work or school schedule that a regular full-time position does not.
Candidates must have a High School Diploma or GED, a valid Driver's License, and successfully pass all background and reference checks.
