PROCUREMENT COORDINATOR

The Procurement Coordinator is a position that assists and supports the Procurement Department on a wide variety of daily responsibilities including, but not limited to, the procurement of various materials, managing and updating the Procurement System, coordinating schedules for projects, and responding to issues.

Some of the Work You'll Do:

  • Commit to safe work - there is nothing more important!
  • Maintain Vista product catalog
  • Maintain document control for the Procurement SharePoint site
  • Set up and manage suppliers
  • Write, place and track purchase orders
  • Coordinate material delivery schedules
  • Research new suppliers and vendors
  • Reconcile invoices
  • Support project estimating
  • Request quotes - RFQ/RFP
  • Generate project and material reports
  • Assume additional tasks assigned by senior management or which are logically inherent to this position

About YOU:

  • Associate's Degree in Marketing, Supply Chain, or Business Administration preferred
  • 1-3 years of experience in a procurement support role
  • Attention to detail, organized, and able to prioritize
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong negotiating skills
  • Enjoys communicating via phone and can relate to everyone
  • Positive attitude and professional customer service skills
  • Strong organizational and document management skills
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Excellent computer aptitude
  • Investigative/Research skills and questioning mindset
