POSITION SUMMARY:
The Product Director – Store Operations will lead a product team focused on developing solutions in support of Signet’s Store Operations function utilizing data, analytical approaches and delivering actionable insights across various KPI’s. This leader will oversee a team that focuses on analytical projects with deep insights developed following an agile development process. The product team that the Director will lead will focus on store operations KPI’s such as labor, traffic, conversion etc. with an understanding that Signet’s different retail brand stores each have their own set of characteristics. The Product Director will focus on the development of long-range analytical insights, the development of models, datasets and tools partnering with the Store Operations Administration team.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Store Operations Strategy – plays an integral role in setting the Store Operations strategic direction by providing key inputs, tools and analysis while developing and maintaining store portfolio products such as financial models, performance benchmarking and gap analysis across various banners, geographies and times of year.
- Analytics and Reporting – oversee the development of reporting on project progression and milestones for initiatives executed by the Store Operations team. Ensure transparency across measurement techniques and use visualizations (Tableau etc.) to bring KPIs into a simplified format.
- Executive Summaries – develop insights driven presentations to demonstrate Signet’s data-based approach to Store Operations decisions with emphasis on Operational levers and action plans that can be taken to improve performance.
- Team Leadership – Lead an Analytics Product team in Signet’s Enterprise Analytics organization with a diverse team of individuals across multiple disciplines including analytics, data science, data engineering, interactive reporting and program management in an Agile format. Monitor the development of all Operations analytical products through their lifecycle stages (analysis, beta, production, deprecation). Work with key stakeholders to manage priorities based on value case.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
Education Required: Minimum Education: BA/BS Bachelor's Degree. MA/MS Mathematics, Data Science or MBA Preferred
Years of Job-Related Experience Required:
- 5+ years of experience in Store Operations analytics – demonstrated aptitude sourcing, aggregating and analyzing diverse data sets, fluency in data analysis tools, technology and methodologies
- 5+ years of experience managing analytic and data science teams, on shore and off-shore management experience preferred

- Demonstrated ability create insights from data and to communicate actionable opportunities at an executive level
- Strong financial and analytical acumen to make strategic recommendations
- Store Operations terminology
- Demonstrated strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities and can identify primary and secondary objectives, prioritize time and communicate to team members and clients
- Excellent skills at data visualization and reporting – Demonstrated skills with Data, BI and Reporting software packages such as Alteryx, Business Objects, Tableau, Looker, Amazon QuickSight, Power BI, etc.
- Working knowledge of databases, data modeling and modern cloud-based data architectures

The salary range for this opportunity is $128,000 - $184,000. Base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job related knowledge, skills and experience, among other factors.
