Deserve’s product team works closely with design, engineering and data to identity, scope and deliver platform products and features. We are client and customer centric, agile and mission focused. Deserve’s platform consists of a number of products and service modules working together. As a Product Manager, you will work on product features, driving discovery on needs, potential partners and integrations, scope and user stories. You will work with Sr. Product Managers and engineering leads to develop early understanding of feasibility, trade-offs, complexity and efforts, and use the information to describe requirements, sequence and acceptance criteria for user stories.

Responsibilities:

    • Working closely with prospects and clients to develop insights on key customer needs
    • Prepare product features for prioritization and development backlog, by specifying prioritized client/user needs, articulation of benefits, sub-features and requirements and early estimates for size and complexity of effort
    • Write product requirement specifications, with user stories and acceptance criteria; recommend sequencing, MVP and phasing of product features for development
    • Work collaboratively with design, data and engineering to iterate on requirements and subsequently to develop and deploy
    • Work closely across compliance, programs, risk management and other functional teams
    • Help development of product marketing and sales collateral
    • Track and shepherd your features through the prioritization and deployment queue
    • Source, prioritize and track bug reports and client customization requests

What you will bring to the role:

    • Curiosity, passion to help build, empathy to client/user, problem solving and aptitude for logic, technology and rapid learning
    • Ability to identity and map business needs to prioritized initiatives
    • Outstanding problem solving ability and collaboration skills
    • Ownership mentality, to work cross functionally to deliver on product and outcomes, working across multiple functions
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Preferably, a technical background gained through work or education
    • Preferably, experience in product development in a fintech or related environment
