The Product Manager, Healthcare IT – Patient Monitoring will be responsible for driving product management of Nihon Kohden Healthcare IT product line, an exciting portfolio of enterprise software solutions that address interoperability, scalability, and cybersecurity needs of our healthcare providers.

Product Manager, Healthcare IT – Patient Monitoring key responsibilities include understanding and defining customer VOC to drive upstream product development, providing commercial leadership for the product pipeline, and strategic commercial planning for individual products and programs.

Target salary is $87,000 or above, depending on years of experience and expertise.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND MAIN DUTIES

  • Support product development decisions for current and future Healthcare IT product
  • Through deep understanding of current business, be able to articulate future steps needed to continue the growth trajectory of business
  • Generate business plans, market requirements documents, presentations and supporting materials to align all functional groups behind a common vison
  • Coordinate the collection, description, analysis, and prioritization of requests for new product functionality from customers
  • Perform competitor and market assessments
  • Works with other functions to finalize product specifications
  • Determines the profitability and viability of new products or product enhancements
  • Maintain strong market product knowledge; support internal and external customer education programs and product training as required
  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and business ethics codes.
  • Duties may be modified or assigned at any time based on business need.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education / Certification / Experience required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Science, Business, Marketing, Arts or related discipline; MBA a plus
  • 4+ years of experience in/with product management/marketing in a directly related field to patient monitoring or Healthcare IT
  • Product launch & product development process (PDP) experience
  • Prior experience selling enterprise software preferred
  • IT/Networking background preferred
  • Knowledge of clinical, sales and technical requirements for the market segments
  • Knowledge of medical device industry practices, techniques and standards (e.g. HIPAA, quality and regulatory requirements)

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills
  • Experience in making group presentations in front of peers, customers, or other groups as necessary
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Able to work effectively both independently and in a collaborative team environment

WORKING CONDITIONS

SCHEDULE: The regular hours for this full-time position are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday–Friday, unless otherwise stated by the department manager. Holiday, weekend, and evening work hours may be required. Regular hours may vary due to the needs of the organization or department and are subject to change at any time at the Company’s discretion.

PHYSICAL: Generally may require some reaching, bending, stooping, squatting, crawling, kneeling, pushing, pulling, lifting, carrying up to 20 pounds, finger dexterity, repetitive motions, standing, walking, sitting, hearing, visual acuity, color vision, and 2-way written/verbal communication in English. More specific details may be provided as needed or requested.

TRAVEL: Approximately 40%

ACCESS to CUSTOMER SITES: It is an essential function of this position to perform duties in healthcare facilities, and to achieve the necessary vendor credentialing. As part of this process, it is typically required to provide proof of vaccinations (including for COVID-19), and related personal medical information, and to comply with other criteria as needed to be able to work at customer sites. Typical vendor credentialing expenses will be paid/reimbursed by the Company.
