Position Summary
Product Specialist is the product expert for the Aerospace RFID product line that includes highly-engineered RFID tags, RFID printers, handheld readers, and associated software. This person's primary focus is maintaining existing consumers of our materials, managing 3rd party providers of our solutions, and providing support to new and existing customers in the form of education on the technical specifications and implementation best practices.

Brady Intelligent Manufacturing is a technology division focused on the delivery of solutions-based technology projects. Aerospace RFID is a product-line component of Intelligent Manufacturing.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Maintain active role in relevant industry groups (IATA, ATA, etc), and stay up-to-speed on related specifications
- Work closely with aircraft manufacturers and support RFID implementation plans
- Consolidate regional forecasts to educate inventory builds
- Work with operations to maintain continuous product component supply/availability
- Understand and articulate industry trends for new product developments opportunities, features, software, etc.
- Interface with development teams (Materials, Software, etc) and manage product maintenance/development activities
- Work with corporate customers to implement program-level implementation plans
- Work with Brady Strategic Account Managers to train on Aerospace RFID Solutions
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year College or university
- Engineering, Information Systems or similar technical degree
- At least 5 years' experience in a technical-sales capacity
- Highly effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team while displaying a high level of initiative
- Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed goals
- Up to 25% travel may be required
Desired Characteristics: Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Experience with RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) technologies (printers, tags, readers, etc)
- Database and data integration experience
- Programming experience in scripting languages similar to XML or JSON
- Entrepreneurial experience, or experience within a start-up business environment
