What We Manufacture and Sell

Axiota's non-antibiotic solutions prepare cattle for times of transition and stress and support producers' goals of optimal health, performance, and animal well-being.

MS Biotec and Axiota are the world's first and only commercial producers of Lactipro advance, a beef and dairy cattle probiotic based on a pure culture of the lactate utilizing bacteria:

Megasphaera elsdenii. MS Biotec has developed a unique anaerobic fermentation and formulation expertise leading to the successful commercialization of this strict anaerobe.

We are expanding its team to accelerate the development and commercialization of its innovative product pipeline and allow the company to capitalize on significant market opportunities in the growing natural animal health products market.

Role Overview

Follow Good Manufacturing Practices & Good Laboratory Practices.

Pull raw materials from storage.

Make all media for weekly production.

Sterilize all equipment, lines and vessels associated with production.

Breakdown of fermenters on a weekly basis or when needed,

Inoculate per production schedule, package all products cleared for use, and dispose of all contaminated media and/or products in production,

Full understanding of all SOPs related to assigned tasks,

Periodic cleaning and disinfecting of all production equipment, and the production facility to maintain sanitary conditions,

Perform scheduled water samples of boiler and facility water, minor maintenance on equipment and utilities, 6-month breakdown of north and south production lines,

Assist with special projects when needed.

Preferred previous experience in an industrial or research environment

General understanding of the production process

Able to interact with other staff members in a team-oriented environment

Self-motivated and flexible to changes in the workplace

Able to identify and maintain production area organization and sanitary cleanliness, and perform physical tasks such as lifting boxes and light laboratory equipment

Logistics and Demographics

Our production facility is in Wamego, Kansas, near Manhattan, Kansas, home to Kansas State

University. We now have over one hundred employees and have expansion plans for continued profitable double-digit growth year over year.
