Summary
The NFL Media office located in Inglewood, CA is looking for a full-time Production Assistant. This position will report to the Edit Producer and be involved in all aspects of studio-based shows.
Responsibilities
- Works closely with Coordinating Producers, Senior Producers, Segment Producers and other Production Assistants on a daily basis to support content created for daily studio programming
- Works in edit bays & control rooms producing video content with editors and coordinating live-to-air on-screen fonts with graphic operators
- Responsible for watching a game and producing multiple highlights for various studio shows
- Works to develop and implement on-screen graphic elements that reflect breaking news, current NFL topics and statistics related to show content
- Responsible for archiving important video, teleprompting shows and other various tasks related to production
- Facilitating communication and the exchange of ideas across multiple departments
Required Qualifications
- Strong NFL knowledge (present day & historical)
- Strong editorial judgement and attention to detail/organizational skills
- Ability to decipher the most important and up-to-date information for all NFL stories
- Strong understanding of workflows in control rooms and edit environments
- Strong writing skills
- Ability to perform basic statistical and info-based research
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Communication, Journalism or equivalent experience in a related field
- Previous professional experience in a TV production environment is strongly preferred
- Basic understanding of linear editing and on-air graphics systems

- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and/or projects at once and work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to establish open communication and perform well under pressure
- A team-oriented attitude on all tasks, from the largest to smallest
Travel
- Some travel may be required during key events (5%)
Salary / Pay Range

Terms / Expected Hours of Work
- NFL employees are required to work 40 hours per week
- Overtime may be required during the busiest times of the season
- Overnight, weekend and holiday hours are commonly expected
