Work Experience

Related experience in a manufacturing / production environment, power tools, assembly, machine operator, carpentry, construction.

Physical Requirements

-Bend, stoop, climb, stand, walk, turn and pivot for the duration of the shift

-Lift, lower, push, and pull up to shoulder height up to 50lbs. without assistance

-Lift to a height of 42”, up to 140lbs. with the assistance of another person

-Grasp and maintain control of work material

-Simple hand grasping, power hand grasping and fine hand manipulation necessary to complete task

-Coordinated use of hand held power tools and precision machinery

-Steady use of hands and arms for repetitive type motions associated with swinging a hammer,

-See and hear with sufficient capability to maintain proper job safety conditions

-Physically able to properly use safety equipment such as safety glasses, hard hats, face shields, steel

Toed boots, chaps, support gloves, dust masks, etc.

-Maintain an acceptable work place

-Standing or sitting in a static position up to 2 hours at a time

-Work in an environment that will be subject to:

• Variable temperatures and humidity (climate conditions)
• Exposure to dust, dirt and noise (within OSHA guidelines)

-Demonstrate cognitive ability to:

• Follow directions and routines
• Work Independently with appropriate judgment
• Illustrate spatial awareness
• Read words and numbers
• Concentrate, memorize and recollect
• Other functions that may be assigned
