> THE OPPORTUNITY The Production Supervisor will report to the Production Manager and will be responsible to meet the on-time delivery of our RF products including; generators, matches, chucks, sub-assembly, power amplifier assembly, and final product. You will lead and coach the assembly staff creating an environment of continuous improvement to meet quality and delivery commitments. This role requires fluid collaboration across materials, planning, manufacturing engineering, and test. > KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
o Drive daily operations of the assembly areas to assure safety, quality, delivery, utilization, and employee performance and satisfaction.

o Hold daily stand ups with all members of the team at the start of the shift. These meeting must cover safety, quality, production, and customer commitments.

o Cross over and collaborate with 2nd shift supervisor to assure flawless daily communication.

o Manage and balance the assembly and sub-assembly capacity and cycle times to assure delivery to the plan.

o Work closely with Master Scheduler and Planning to execute to the commits. Critical focus on in-house work orders and material shortage processes.

o Assure compliance to shift schedule, recommend overtime as needed, and secure commits to be reviewed with Manager.

o Assure that all assembly equipment, procedures, and employee actions meet required safety protocols. Conduct all required health and safety audits.

o Must be a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for ERP system production transactions. Well versed in planning and inventory transactions.

o Fully capable with the PDM system to support production and understand ECO changes.

o Responsible for training the production associates and securing the support of other functional organizations as needed.

o Improve quality of product and processes through continuous improvement initiatives; structured problem solving, LEAN, and 6S. Conduct 6S audits and hold self and team accountable for actions to improve every day.

o Implement consistent and robust ESD procedures and processes throughout assembly operations.

o Will provide feedback, coach, and hold team members accountable in work tasks, safety, quality, lean and job performance

o Ensure adherence to ISO 9001 and 14001 standards.

> Key Qualifications and Skills
o Minimum 3 years’ experience leading assembly operations in a manufacturing environment.

o Degree in Business Management preferred

o Proven on the ground experience utilizing structured problem solving, LEAN, and 6S to transform operations.

o Ability to manage conflict and difficult performance issues.

o Strong knowledge and skill with computer, MRP, ERP, and Microsoft Office software required.

o Intermediate skill with Excel is essential.

o Knowledge of manufacturing controls required – Capacity planning, inventory control, Bills of Materials, Engineering drawings and Change Orders, Document Control, and Work Instructions.

o Able to coach and lead employees.

o Demonstrates ownership, accountability, and tenacious follow through.

o Is comfortable with reaching beyond role scope to drive improvement and growth.

o Proven ability to perform effectively in a demanding environment with changing workloads and deadlines.

o Excellent oral and written communication skills required.

o Ability to lift to 50lbs.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
