Responsibilities
- Operate, adjust, and changeover gummy production & packaging equipment
- Initial 6-months of role will heavily support the start-up, ramp-up and sustained operations of all gummy production equipment
- Operate, adjust, perform changeover, troubleshoot and repair production and packaging equipment
- Review and own shift processes to ensure data accuracy
- Create, use and update tools & standards to drive manufacturing performance improvements
- Assist in training/on-boarding new technicians
- Support Proactive Safety culture
- Operate a forklift, unload and inspect raw materials & supply raw materials to lines
- Perform quality checks, interpret quality data and comply with GMP standards
- Read and use equipment manual diagrams
Qualifications
- High School Education
- Experience starting a new manufacturing line start-up is highly desirable
- Food & beverage manufacturing experience preferred
- Demonstrated sustained periods of increased performance on manufacturing equipment
- Experience using standards such as CILs, CLs, tagging, 5S
- Proven ability to adapt through rapid changes
- Proven mechanical aptitude of equipment troubleshooting and repair
- Ability to operate a forklift
- Ability to navigate Computer programs
- Demonstrated positive attitude, commitment, dedication, and attendance record
- Ability to work shifts up to 12 hours and flexibility to support across multiple shifts as needed (days, swing, nights)
