Production Technician
Location: Elgin, IL
Shift: 2nd shift (2pm - 10pm).
Training: start on 1st shift (6am - 2pm) for training purposes.

About the Position:
The primary role of the Production Technician is to operate process equipment in a safe and efficient manner. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to work well as a team. This position is for 2nd shift (2pm - 10pm). However, the candidate would start on 1st shift (6am - 2pm) for training purposes. There is a $0.60 wage increase once moved to 2nd shift. Must be available to work split shift. Candidate must have a strong desire to be a part of a high growth company with a results-oriented culture. This position is compliant to US government ITAR requirements.
Responsibilities Include but Not Limited to:
- Operation of process equipment and others as assigned in a safe and efficient manner.
- Maintain an organized and clean workplace including: all areas of the plant, workstations, equipment, walkways, and locker rooms.
Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Two years’ experience working in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Ability to move and lift-up to 40 pounds.
- Prior experience and/or background in equipment operations such as molding rubber components, spraying adhesives, and grit blasting metals.
- Proficient computer skills, comfortable working with Windows Microsoft applications.
- Comprehensive communication skills in the English language both verbal and written.
- 2nd Shift (2-10PM). However, the candidate would start on 1st shift (6am - 2pm) for training purposes.
