Grundfos is seeking an experienced Production Training Facilitator to join its Quality team. The Production Training Facilitator will be responsible for assisting Production Supervisors in the preparation of training new employees and current employees in new job roles. This position will collaborate with our internal Certified Trainers to ensure proper training is conducted. The Facilitator position will not be responsible for the actual training. The responsibility of this position is to periodically assess employees on standardize work requirements, including Safety, Quality, and performance requirements and to share the assessment findings with the Production Supervisor and Team Lead for employee development. The Facilitator will also assist Manufacturing Engineers in updating Work Instructions. This position reports directly to the Quality Manager and will operate daily out of the Fresno, CA facility. Relocation for this position cannot be supported and qualified candidates must have authorization to work in the USA without support.


What is the job about?


  • Ensure all required employee training requirements are updated.
  • Perform assessments and analyze findings in order to identify training and employee development needs.
  • Ensure Training Metrics are consistently updated in a timely manner.
  • Validate training materials, Work Instructions, and Control Instructions during employee training assessment.
  • Assist Manufacturing Engineers in updating Work Instructions.
  • Responsible for training records management for the plant, through a database record or paper record.

What do you need to apply?


Qualified candidates will possess a combination of education and experience. Additionally, have a minimum of 2-3 years of training experience, preferably a Grundfos Certified Trainer, and 3-5 years of production experience. The midpoint of the pay range for this position is $38.80 per hour. Actual pay will depend upon skill set, experience, and location.

  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with employees in all areas of the organization.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Able to work in a team environment where honest communication, a positive attitude, engagement, and personal accountability are expected.
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Standard Work, and 5S.
  • Detail oriented with the ability and desire to accurately record and document information.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Results driven with a commitment to continuous process improvement and quality.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft applications (Word, Excel).
  • Must be able to work various shifts (day, swing or graveyard) when requested.
