Position: Program Manager, Automotive Image Sensor
Job Location: 16535 Via Esprillo, San Diego, CA 92127 (ability to telecommute from anywhere in the US)
Duties: The Automotive Image Sensor Section of the Sony Semiconductor Solutions America Division currently has an excellent opportunity within its marketing group for a Program Management professional. This multi-disciplinary position will have accountability for leading cross-functional teams with both internal stakeholders and external customers throughout the program lifecycle, from sourcing to qualification, production release and beyond. This person will be a primary interface between Sony and our customers, managing key aspects of the relationship and program engagement. Additional responsibilities include gathering and negotiating customer requirements, managing APQP activities, developing documentation, negotiating contracts internally and externally, and conducting customer meetings. This position will work on a daily basis dealing with technical, engineering, sourcing, supply chain, compliance and quality issues with a wide range of professionals, both internally as well as within customer organizations. The Product Management Manager utilizes a blend of business acumen, technical skills, automotive industry experience and program management leadership to manage key engagements with the customer
Minimum education required: Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent in Business Administration or a related field.
Minimum experience required: 5 years of experience in the job offered or in a related program management, product marketing or quality management occupation in the automotive industry.
Travel requirement: Travel will be required approximately 20% of the time, both domestic and international.
