AECOM’s Energy practice provides a wide range of services from consulting and engineering design to energy engineering, energy procurement and construction (EPC) for power, energy efficiency, and renewable energy clients. Job Description


AECOM has a position available for a Program Resource & Staffing Manager - Energy to support our Energy team’s large utility programs in Southern California.

This position will primarily support the SDG&E undergrounding program, an exciting and best-in-class program management opportunity utilizing innovative technical methods and collaborative partnerships to reduce wildfire risk to communities. The program is a multi-year, multi-billion dollar program with significant opportunity for growth and impact.

The successful candidate should be a dynamic, self-directed individual. The candidate with strong technical, organizational and communication skills to ensure projects meet communications objectives.


Responsibilities include, but may not limited to, the following:

  • Ability to identify and allocate resources to support successful program execution
  • Integrating subcontractors, including DBEs, into program resourcing approaches
  • Support Program Onboarding at Client site
  • Track staffing and resourcing across multiple work streams, including construction contractors and partners for AECOM led programs
  • Strategic planning and resource forecasting
  • Developing Resource Plans
  • Measure and analyze the impact of resourcing on overall program performance metrics
  • Leading resource team, including supporting team members, to ensure strong project execution, high quality deliverables, and excellent communications
  • Develop presentations and materials for program stakeholders within a client’s brand guidelines
  • Manage subcontractor coordination and engagement across program efforts
  • Ability to understand technical project information, identify needed resources related to that information, and oversee the tasks to fulfill identified needs
  • Project and client management

Qualifications


Minimum Requirements:

  • BA/BS degree and 4+ years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
  • Demonstrated experience using Microsoft Office products, including and especially Microsoft Excel
  • Experience planning and executing resourcing and staffing plans

Preferred Qualifications:

  • BA/BS degree in human relations, marketing, management, communications, planning, or a related discipline is preferred
  • Demonstrated writing skills that include copyediting and familiarity with AP style highly preferred
  • Project management experience and demonstrated organizational skills desired
  • Proficiency with InDesign a plus
  • Experience in relevant areas such as utility programs, renewable energy, capital projects, decarbonization, and/or sustainability desired

Offered rate of compensation in California only will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. The salary range for this position is $92,869 - $132,339.
