Kite is seeking a highly motivated Project Management Associate to provide project management expertise and support to the Frederick, Maryland manufacturing site.

Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):

  • Engage stakeholders to align project priorities, coordinate interdependencies, and navigate risks
  • Invest in building relationships with stakeholders to create an environment of trust and collaboration
  • Facilitate project teams to establish clear project goals, objectives and measurements of success
  • Work with project teams to create project charters, develop detailed project plans, including timelines, deliverables, resources, and project costs
  • Coordinate and lead project team meetings, including meeting minutes, actions and escalations
  • Develop and utilize visual tools to monitor and track all aspects of project progress including task completion, milestone tracking, escalations and resource utilization
  • Ensure projects achieve planned milestones through rigorous schedule management
  • Handle changes to project scope, project timeline and project budget and evaluate project risks
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
  • Ensure cross functional and global project statuses are reported to site/global portfolios on routine basis
  • Support functional project portfolio management as needed
  • Foster productive communication and alignment among the site functions and with global functions as appropriate
  • Support the optimization and deployment of business processes and tools to improve efficiency and advance collaboration
  • Leads and supports process improvement initiatives as needed
  • Mentors others in creating a culture of continuous improvement

Basic Qualifications:

  • Master’s Degree and 1+ year of relevant work experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree and 3+ years of relevant work experience
  • High School Diploma and 7+ years of relevant work experience
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Strong computer, organizational, and project management skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • PMP certified
  • Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certified
  • Portfolio Management experience
  • Expertise skill level in Excel, Project, Smartsheet, Tableau and SharePoint
